The
TED Talk I watched was by Shawn Achor.
It was called "The Happiness Advantage." It was only 3
minutes long but I feel like it really got its point across. While watching this TED Talk it looked like
he was a little nervous because he was stuttering in a few of his
sentences. Other than that I really
enjoyed this TED Talk. It talked about
how a lot of people think that to be happy you have to make money. By
making money you will be successful and that would make you happy. He
said that to make money and be happy, you already have to be happy. Being
happy makes you work harder and better. I completely agree with what he
is saying. When I am happy I feel more determined to do my work to the
best of my ability. When I am not in the best of moods I wish I could be
happy and successful but I don't feel determined to do anything. He says
that if you write 3 things down you are grateful about for 21 days you will
start feeling happier. I think I am going to try it out and see if it
really does work. Always thinking positive and being happy is difficult
at times, but I don't think it will be that big of a challenge.
